DermaV Vascular & Pigment Laser Treatment

DermaV is an advanced dual-wavelength laser treatment designed to address both vascular redness and pigmentation concerns. By combining 532nm and 1064nm laser wavelengths, DermaV can target visible blood vessels, facial redness, rosacea, broken capillaries, sunspots, age spots and uneven pigmentation.

The treatment incorporates intelligent cooling and precision energy-delivery technologies to provide a more controlled and comfortable experience with generally minimal downtime.

What Is DermaV Laser?

DermaV is a dual-wavelength vascular and pigment laser platform developed to address both red and brown skin concerns on the face and selected body areas.

Its two wavelengths can be customised according to the depth and type of concern:

  • 532nm wavelength: Targets superficial vascular and pigmented concerns, including facial redness, visible capillaries, freckles and sunspots.
  • 1064nm wavelength: Penetrates more deeply to address deeper blood vessels, leg veins and selected pigmentation concerns.

DermaV uses a long-pulsed 532nm KTP laser together with a 1064nm Nd:YAG laser. The platform also incorporates cryogen cooling, Variable Sequential Pulsing and real-time temperature monitoring.

DermaV Dual-Wavelength Laser Technology

Dual-Wavelength Targeting

The 532nm and 1064nm wavelengths allow DermaV treatment to target vascular redness and pigmentation at different skin depths.

Variable Sequential Pulsing

Variable Sequential Pulsing technology adjusts pulse delivery to target blood vessels of different sizes more precisely.

Intelligent Cryogen Cooling

Integrated cryogen cooling helps protect the skin surface and enhance comfort throughout the laser treatment.

IntelliTrak™ Coverage

IntelliTrak technology supports consistent energy overlap and efficient coverage when treating larger areas.

How DermaV Laser Works

DermaV delivers controlled laser energy using two selected wavelengths.

The 532nm wavelength is primarily absorbed by haemoglobin in superficial blood vessels and melanin within superficial pigmentation. It is therefore suited to concerns such as facial redness, rosacea, broken capillaries, freckles and sunspots.

The 1064nm wavelength reaches deeper tissue layers and can be used for deeper vascular concerns, including spider veins and leg veins, as well as selected deeper pigmentation concerns.

The laser energy is directed towards the targeted vessel or pigment while limiting unnecessary exposure to surrounding tissue. Over time, the treated redness, visible vessels or pigmentation may become less noticeable as the skin responds to treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

DermaV is designed to address vascular and pigmentation concerns, including facial redness, rosacea, visible capillaries, spider veins, sunspots, age spots, freckles and uneven pigmentation.

DermaV can be used to target visible blood vessels and redness associated with rosacea. A medical consultation is required to assess the cause of the redness and determine whether laser treatment is appropriate.

Most individuals experience mild warmth, tingling or a brief snapping sensation during treatment. DermaV incorporates intelligent cryogen cooling to support comfort and protect the skin surface.

Some concerns may respond after one session, while others require a series of treatments. The number of sessions depends on the type, depth, size and location of the vascular or pigmentation concern.

Downtime is generally minimal. Temporary redness or slight swelling may occur, but many individuals can resume their usual activities following treatment.

Yes. DermaV can be used on facial and selected body areas, depending on the concern and treatment settings. A doctor will determine the appropriate wavelength and protocol.
